UV-C LED Technology

UV-C, the radiation used in AquiSense systems, is germicidal, meaning it can be used effectively as a disinfectant to kill microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses.
When the DNA of microorganisms absorbs UV light, it stops them from being able to reproduce and duplicate, thereby preventing their growth in water.
UV Water Filter Systems
UV-C LED systems are most effective when used in conjunction with traditional water filtration, such as reverse osmosis. UV-C LED uses light to deactivate pathogens but does not remove sediment or chemicals from the water.
